She was taken care of by her loving parents named Frederick and Clara. She also had two siblings who were older than her. Their names are Madge, her sister, and Monty, her brother. Agatha’s father was a very sociable man who had a self-sufficient income. Clara, who was shy, was the opposite of Frederick. Agatha acquired the personality of her mother (ACL, 2008). Madge was able to have a formal education. However, their mother Clara thought that Agatha should not have one. It was her intention that Agatha would learn how to read when she reached the age of eight. But through Agatha’s own will and way, she learned reading when she was five years old. Her education was very diverse. She had varied tutors. She had part-time education. She also enrolled in French schools. Agatha also even had training in singing and playing the piano. Her first novel was titled â€Å"The Mysterious Affairs at Styles. † She was bale to finish the novel in just a year. However, it took her several years before her book was published. One man’s sick mind led to the extermination of an entire generation of people. These ideas came at the worst possible time, during World War II. The ideas were horrific and evil and today they would be viewed as satanic but at the time they were thought to be glorious and wonderful. This gave Hienrich Himmler a place as one of the most devious persons ever. Himmler went to grade school at the Cathedral where he was an excellent student. It was during this time that Himmler became interested in Germany’s history and war (Shrirer 130-131). After he finished grade school he went to Technical High school. He once again resumed the role of a good student. At this time Himmler felt he had no rules or discipline so he dropped out of high school and enlisted in the Army. Return on Equity (â€Å"ROE†) and Return on Assets (â€Å"ROA†) are, historically, among the most widely used measures to assess relative profitability in the banking industry. The technique used in this paper is based on Dr. Cole’s ROE Model. This model helps â€Å"demystify† ROE and ROA; and focuses and analyzes the main factors that are driving profitability for a bank. For this paper, selected financial data for East West Bank (â€Å"EWB† or the â€Å"Bank†) and its Peer Group (â€Å"peers†) was obtained from the December 31, 2013 Uniform Bank Performance Report (â€Å"UBPR†) and various EWB documents ; and from interviews conducted with EWB management .†¦show more content†¦Thus, EWB’s Equity Multiplier (â€Å"EM†) is also higher than peers (10.09x vs. 8.88x).
